In ancient Greece, tyrants gained popularity by doing what?
B...would be the most logic answer....but ... NO...TYRANT was ever popular..belive me.... the word tyrant means to torture or put some one under duress or painstaking ultimatems......so really a tyrant was not popular at all..only to those who could benefit from them or where in his favour..usally they used force by means of military might and fear, Intrtesting though if the tyrant did not keep his troops happy the troops would turn on him...there where many tryrants in greece but many had short stay..in political life and life its self...MOST FAMOUS TYRANT in the ancient world in greece was CLISTHENIS... his specialty was tax...beyond all persons means ..how ever he did some good he introduced true whiegths and measures in greece and sett he true value of the DRACHMA...
