How can Jesus be called a Messiah, as 30 years after his death, the Jews were slaughtered enslaved & scattered?

The Romans destroyed the temple, enslaved over a one hundred thousand and killed a million people, men, women and children and most of the rest scattered to the winds, if this claim was made before this happened it had no validity and showed with out a doubt that he was not the Messiah. The loot and the slaves were taken to Rome were they built the coliseum, there is an arch there with this information on it. Jesus did live, he was the chosen one, the Righteous Teacher of the Essenes and after his death his brother James was the leader and called the Righteous one, leader of the Essenes, this is what my research has shown me, your views?
