Do filipinas here seriously believe Americans take them to states and can like sardines to sell in supermart?

I've had several people ask me that at the family interrogation when visiting a filipina. Adult people who should have more intelligence seriously ask that question. In case you still don't quite understand, some in Philippines think an American will bring girl to states just to sell for meat in supermart. How can anyone be that stupid? Its just one of the false stories the old filipinas tell the little girls to scare them. They always tell stories about Americans that aren't true. When they have never been here or even left their home province. But they are experts when its time to gossip.
